Tara is a highly motivated and driven Speech Language Pathologist with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young children. She has an easygoing personality and a strong work ethic that allows her to thrive in any given environment. Tara is always up for a challenge, and her love of learning ensures that she is constantly on the lookout for new opportunities to increase her knowledge and expertise.

Tara has been licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Texas since 2014 and has been a licensed Speech Language Pathology Assistant since 2008. Her primary focus has always been on pediatric patients, and she takes great pride in using her skills and experience to make a real difference in their lives.

In 2014, Tara made the courageous decision to open her private clinic, Horizons Pediatric Therapy, PLLC. As the owner and operator of the clinic, Tara plays many roles daily, including providing treatment to patients, managing the clinic's finances and marketing efforts, and consulting with patients, families, physicians, and educators to ensure that all patients receive the best possible care.

Tara is also an accomplished copywriter and content creator, with a talent for thinking outside of the box and trying innovative marketing strategies. She is an excellent communicator and creative thinker and is always looking for ways to use data to inform her decisions.

Outside of work and school, Tara is the proud mother of three amazing children, ages 15, 14, and 11. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, horseback riding, and volunteering at school events. Tara is also passionate about facilitating a total communication approach through the “Talk is Cheap” Coaching Program for parents, educators, and medical professionals. She enjoys meeting new people and building friendships & long-lasting relationships wherever she goes.
